When we got out hands on these super quality mudguards from Germany we realised how restrictive the fitting was. They require a seatstay bridge at the back and a drilling in the fork crown or brace. Unlike most of their competitors they are far from a universal fit – these days many bikes have neither of those requirements. We ended up testing them on our cyclo-cross and old-school hardtails.
