It is incredibly well made with the sort of detail that makes you sigh with pleasure. The cuffs are zipped so you can close them up or wear them loose, with a curve that dips over your hand.
The pullers on the water-resistant zips are long and well made. A clever flap gives access to a triple-compartment rear pocket, and if the jersey you’re wearing underneath has pockets, you can access them through the flap too. The cut is great, with stretch for comfort. We managed to test the breathability to its limit on a humid day, and got some condensation – then realised we hadn’t undone the
