The TL Max builds Lupine’s mini Piko helmet lamp into an all-in-one bar light. The tiny Piko is a great lid light and the same twin LED front end gives the TL Max a far reaching, consistent beam with enough sideways spread for fast singletrack work. The O-ring bar mount gives a secure, angle-adjustable fit and the sub-200g unit is barely noticeable on the bars.
The main switch also works as a battery life indicator. The preset low output is too low for all but emergency use, but the lamp can be programmed through various sequences and output levels. Run time of our early sample was very short at full power though, and it’s not che
