A nice shiny tin makes any product more appealing, but the newest Giustaforza torque wrench is a genuinely very useful tool for the home mechanic when handling lightweight alloy and carbon parts.

While bigger, cheaper torque wrenches are easy to find from normal tool suppliers, finding one sensitive enough to cope with lightweight bike bolt tolerances around 5nm is a nightmare. Especially if you combine the need for a small driver stub to suit small Allen key and Torx wrench heads.

While it definitely costs a premium, the Giustaforza wrench measures between 2 and 16nm torque ratings to stop you stripping threads and crushing delicate components. The full set also comes with interchangeable head including 2-6mm Allen key heads, T10 - T30 Torx heads and flat and cross screwdriver heads, with long extension shafts on the more popular sizes.
