The Viral chainguide is DMR"s latest contribution into the ever-expanding chain device market. As usual with DMR, it comes in five brightly coloured anodised versions so you"re sure to find one to match your ride. It can be adjusted to work with chainrings from 28-38 teeth. The costs are kept down with the use of a steel lower section, which does raise the weight slightly but not so much you"d notice.

Set-up was super easy and didn"t require any additional (or fiddly) washer spacers, working with almost zero contact across the entire range of gears. To make things even easier, the top and lower sections are easily adjustable allowing you to get the perfect fit. The Nylon guides do a great job and stay quiet even in the grittiest mud and we"ve had no issues with loosing the chain throughout the entire testing
