BikeRadar verdict
"Pricey, but a good option for wet and wild winter rides"

The narrow carcass and wide-spaced cut-spike style lugs fang traction out of proper slop and sodden off-camber grass that defeats most tyres.
The Black Chili compound helps it stick to rocks and roots where others slide or ‘walk’ and wobble around too. This makes it more predictable than pointier spikes in mixed woodsy or rocky conditions and it"s light enough to be a great epic winter ride tyre. Like all skinny tyres it rides more harshly and nervously than all-rounders on hardpack though. It’s expensive too.
