But for anyone who doesn’t want a more aggressive cycling fit, needs a jacket to commute in that translates into urban use, or wants something for general outdoor use, we think it represents good value.
It’s made from a combination of the Gore Windstopper fabric that features in more expensive styles and strategically placed stretchier panels that make it comfortable and less restrictive on a bike than we’d expected for an all-rounder. There are nice functional details such as the easy-to-use long-length zip pulls, a clean finish drawcord hem and protective zip garage.
We especially like the simple finish on the sleeve cuff; with just a stretch binding there’s no fussy tabs or Velcro, and even with skinny wrists we didn’t miss the ability to tweak. We’d layer up under this in winter, but it’s comfortable enough to wear over short sleeves o
